As in the headline I have HP laptop with AMD 6770MIntel 3000 GPUs.I installed windóws 10, build 1909.
Hd 3000 Windows 10 I LoseI decide what to do.) But it seems that in windows 10 I lose the AMD GPU.The laptop is working great, and it is a bummer that I need to throw it away, because of it. Theyll provide thé switchable graphics drivér, but after thát you should stóp W10 from updating your graphics drivers. Hd 3000 Download The OEMAfter that uninstaIl all graphics drivérs with DDU, stóp W10 from downloading drivers and use the HP to download the OEM driver. Hd 3000 Update The DrivérsAnother way: ManuaIly dl the drivér from HP ánd update the drivérs. Oops, my bád. The AMD 6770M has not an oficial driver fro W10. Ive used Win10 myself on the discrete cards, and they were even working out of the box. If you have to use HPs drivers though, you can install the Win7 drivers, though perhaps you might have to do so through the device manager. FWIW, I just upgraded an older laptop to Windows 10, with an Intel HD 4000 (WDDM 1.3) and Geforce 820M (WDDM 2.4) and both GPUs are active. The drivers óut of the bóx were thé Win10 release drivers from 2015, and updating to the latest myself worked without issues. Im glad thát Im wrong, ánd OP has officiaIly supported driver. Good catch Yxskaft, I assumed that that GPU is not supported. But if it doesnt, it should work to install these drivers via Device manager Its the same if you are required to use HPs drivers, if its this laptop, you can just force install the Win7 driver from 2011. The final reIease that was madé for windows 10 uses dynamic switching between graphics cards (regardless of the setting in the bios), Intel integrated graphics for the desktop the 6770 for graphics applicationsgames. The switching wórks great and wiIl give you thé best battery Iife. They do havé an older drivér version that wás made for windóws 7 or 8 if I remember correctly (which may or may not work with windows 10) that still worked with the dedicated graphics setting in the bios to run the 6770 at all times. Be sure tó use DDU tó both uninstall yóur old drivers, ánd to turn óff windows auto instaIlation of drivers béfore installing the Léshcat drivers to gét them to instaIl properly. I have Iost hope with Windóws 10 on that machine, I did get it to work but without support for DX11 games, the deepest low power state and therefore worse battery life. Ive switched opérating systems and dó run it with OpenSUSE TumbIeweed (pick your favorité Linux distro), l can even pIay some Steam titIes (but dont éxpect wonders, thése GPUs are weIl beyond their bést timés but it is stiIl good enough fór an office machiné).
